Meet Carol
Carol Millinghausen is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed and a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog trainers, Pet Professional guild, Evaluator for the American Kennel Club, Canine Good citizen and Star Puppy programs and active member of the Alliance for Progressive Pet Trainers. Among 314 professionals, Carol was voted a “Top Ten Trainer” for Philadelphia and surrounding areas in 2020.
For more than a decade she has trained thousands of people and their dogs in the Abington area and loves to watch the relationships between human and canine deepen through training.

Carol’s own journey to becoming a professional trainer came from adopting her dog, Vixen who proved to be a challenge to train. Carol attended and graduated with honors from the Animal Behavior College and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ursinus College in English Education. She continues her education by attending several seminars and conferences per year offered by some of the finest trainers and behaviorists in the industry.
Whether it’s addressing on leash aggression, reactivity, behavior modification or teaching a puppy socialization class, Carol is at ease communicating to both canines and humans. She always brings insight to her sessions covering far more than basic obedience cues. Whether it’s getting your dog to “listen” or helping you solve behavioral problems, Carol is here to support you in your training goals.
